Dr. Ann

Dr. Ann Aduddell grew up in Mesquite. She began practicing dentistry in Plano. In 1999, Dr. Aduddell and her family relocated to Canton to her in-law’s old homestead. Making the commitment to embrace cutting edge technology, Mill Creek Dental was born.

Dr. Aduddell graduated from Baylor University in Waco and later served in the US Navy, first as an intelligence officer before transferring to Naval Control of Shipping. She then went on to graduate with honors from Baylor College of Dentistry.

Dr. Aduddell is a member of the American Dental Association, the Texas Dental Association, and the East Texas Dental Society. She received the 2015 ETDS Dentist of the Year award. In 2013, Dr. Aduddell became the first woman president of the East Texas Dental Society. She is a past treasurer of the Canton Rotary Club and received the 2001 Canton Rotary Club Rotarian of the Year award in 2001. Dr. Aduddell is a past president of the Women’s League of Canton. Her family includes husband Tommy, son Grayson and his wife Cherakee and granddaughter Magnolia Layne, and 16-year-old daughter Bridgett. Another daughter, Hayden, went to be with the Lord in 2001. Dr. Aduddell and her family are active member of Lakeside Baptist Church. When Dr. Ann is not practicing dentistry, she loves to relax with a bowl of chocolate ice cream catching up on her favorite TV shows.


Ashley Thorp-Hockman, Dental Hygienist, conducts initial patient screenings, cleaning teeth, and advising patients on oral health and preventative care.

Ashley has been with Dr. Ann at Mill Creek Dental for 6 years. She graduated from Tyler Junior College in 2013 with an Associate's Degree of Applied Science in Dental Hygiene.

In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Justin, and three children, Addison, Adalyn, and Jaidon. She also enjoys horseback riding, being on the beach, and going to ATV mud parks.
She is inspired by the Word of God. One of her favorite, most inspiring scriptures is Ephisians 6:7 "Serve wholeheartedly, as if you were serving the Lord, not people."

Ashley is very caring and thorough. She prides herself in excellence while taking care of her patients and their dental needs.


Ali is one of our hygienists here at Mill Creek Dental. Ali graduated from Tyler Junior College in 2017 with her Associates of Applied Science in Dental Hygiene and Texas Woman’s University in 2017 with her Bachelors of Science in Dental Hygiene. Ali has been with Dr. Ann at Mill Creek Dental since 2017 shortly after graduating dental hygiene school. In her spare time Ali enjoys running, fishing, traveling, gardening, updating her house, and spending time with her family, boyfriend, friends and animals. Ali has two dachshunds named Ollie and Gus, two cats named Tito and Tinker Bell, nine chickens & three ducks. Her favorite thing about being a dental hygienist is the relationships created and helping patients achieve optimal oral health.


Lisa is our Office Manager here at Mill Creek Dental. Prior to becoming part of our family, Lisa worked as a Certified Medical Assistant for an OBGYN in Dallas for 24 years.

In her spare time, Lisa enjoys going to Lake Jacksonville with family and friends and spending time with her dog Bailey.

Lisa is obsessed with running an efficient and professional dental office and helping people achieve the best dental care and hygiene maintenance possible.


Theresa is a Registered Dental Assistant at Mill Creek Dental and has been working chairside with Dr. Ann for 14 years.

She is a proud wife and mother of two beautiful daughters and a handsome son. Theresa is very active with her church and enjoys working with the children’s program there.

Theresa is motivated by seeing people smile with such confidence. It is exciting to know where they started and how happy they are with the end results. She loves getting to know our patients and making them feel comfortable while at our practice. “Optimism is the faith that leads to achievement. April is Registered Dental Assistant and has been working chairside with Dr. Ann since 2019. She also handles all marketing and advertising and keeps everything up to date with OSHA for the office. Prior to working here, she worked in Dallas chairside for an Endodontist for 11 years.

April is currently enrolled as an online student at Liberty University and is pursuing a Bachelors in Business and Human Resource Management. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her two kids, her boyfriend, family and friends. She is also very active in CrossFit and has been doing that for 6 years. She has 2 dogs and 2 chickens and hopes to have a tiny farm one day.

Pam is a Registered Dental Assistant and Hygiene/ purchasing coordinator for Mill Creek Dental. She has been in health care for 29 years and has been working with Dr. Ann for 4 years. Along with her duties here she also has experience in Physiotherapy.

Pam has two sons and a wonderful husband of 26 years. In her spare time, she enjoys camping and kayaking. Her pride and joy is her little dog, Joejo.

Pam is very passionate about dental care and making sure each patients’ specific needs are met. Making sure people are happy and smiling when they leave our office is her main goal.


Carol has been with Mill Creek Dental for 20 years. She worked chairside with Dr. Ann for many years and enjoyed being a lab guru in the back. Carol is now semi-retired, working part time, and helps at the front desk.

Carol enjoys spending time with her grand-children that she raises along with camping, fishing and various activities with her church family.
